Charlie Breindahl is the DCDR’s web master. Charlie Breindahl works strategically with media planning and effect measurements and produces texts and images for the web site and the DCDR's webzine Mind Design.

Charlie Breindahl is also an editor of the research journal Artifact, which he co-founded with Ida Engholm, who is an associate research professor at DCDR. Artifact has been published by Routledge since 2007, and despite its tender age it is considered one of the world’s leading design research journals. In addition to Charlie Breindahl, the editorial team currently includes Ken Friedman, Bonnie Nardi and Erik Stolterman.

Charlie Breindahl has a master’s degree in cinematography from the University of Copenhagen, where he is also currently taking his Ph.D. He has written about online dating, computer car games and web site analysis. Furthermore, he teaches digital strategic communication as an external lecturer at Copenhagen Business School and the University of Copenhagen.
